The Citrus Juice Processing Plant is located in the industrial state of Fram, it was born seeking to generate a project that combines economic development with a strong social commitment.
The project began in 2002, delivering citrus seedlings to small producers in the area of Itapuá, Misiones and Caazapá, with the commitment that they allow us, through our technicians, to teach them to take care of their plants until they are productive.
Currently, more than 2,400 producers are members of the citrus social chain, together they cultivate thousands of Hectares of citrus whose fruits they can sell to the Citrus Plant, thus generating additional income.
The fruits that arrive at the plant are classified by their appearance and size, into fresh fruit for sale or industrial fruits for the production of Concentrated Juices.
The fruits selected for fresh consumption are meticulously cared for in all the stages that comprise the process: from the greenhouse until the plants reach the production phase, from harvest, collection and transport to reception at the Industrial Plant.
Once received, they go through different stages of selection and through different processes of washing, disinfection, waxing, and finally they are classified by size and packed in bags, boxes or in bulk according to customer preference. The controls and care carried out allow us to obtain top quality fruits in terms of appearance, size and juice content.
